Tribute – Dr. J.K Sinha

Dr. Jitendra Kumar Sinha popularly known with the short name Dr. J. K. Sinha was a person who dreamt to eradicate illiteracy and to shine every dark corner of the society by spreading the rays of education and did it throughout the journey of 73 years of his life and left a series of glorious achievements in his lifetime. His utmost dedication to work has made him a role model in the field of education and was honoured by Bharat Jyoti Award by the Govt. of India.  

Dr. Sinha, the founder of ISL Group as well as Kids Garden Secondary School, founder of Sahodaya School Complex was a man of dynamic personality and a social thinker. Born and brought up in the village Nehalpur, Jahanabad District, touched the zenith of success. Blessed by Goddess Saraswati, Dr. Sinha enriched his career with a sound educational background with Master Degree in Hindi and English and then Ph. D and D.Litt.   

Believing in simple living and high thinking he was a man of simplicity. He was A Teacher, A Poet, A Writer, A Dramatist, A Visionary, An Educationalist and An Institution in himself Dr. J. K. Sinha lived his life out of the circle of comfort and explored the unknown and liberated the true human potential and has lived his life as Uncrowned King.

The journey of the spirited personality came to an end on 24th January’2015 but the vision to touch the never-ending milestone of walking ahead is still alive amongst thousands with whom he worked, he travelled and to whom he taught to work like a labour and live like a king.

We, the whole family of Dr. J. K. Sinha Memorial International School of Learning, Dhanbad feels him within us. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.
